I'm happy to show you how to change your strings or change them for you. Sometimes when you change your strings it can require a setup depending on the gauge of strings which is an extra charge. You must provide or purchase the strings. 4-6 String, extra for more strings.

Nut Replacement (Tusq - Includes Nut) $130
Upgrade the sound and playability of your guitar with my Tusq nut replacement service. I will remove your old plastic or bone nut and replace it with a pre-cut/slotted Tusq nut, which is known for its superior tonal clarity and increased sustain, tone and tuning stability. Corrects string height. Graphtec "Tusq" nuts are made of synthetic ivory which self lubricates. Excellent upgrade for guitars having trouble staying in tune. #1 upgrade for Squier, Epiphone, PRS SE, etc.

Replace, upgrade or fix existing electronics. Output jacks, pickups, potentiometers, switches. My pickup installation service is the perfect way to upgrade the sound of your guitar. You can expect to experience improved tone, greater sustain, and a more dynamic range of sound. * $70 for 1 Pickup Swap * $100 for 2 Pickup Swap * $125 for 3 Pickup Swap * $50 for Output Jack Repair * $50 Pot/Knob Repair Customer must pay for and supply parts. File/Round Fret Ends $90
Filing sharp fret edges rounds them out for enhanced comfort. Includes beveling and polish if needed.

Tuner Swap with Drilling or Direct Replacement - Price Varies See Below
Upgrade the sound and playability of your guitar with new tuners. I will remove your old tuners and install new tuners of your choice. * $50 direct drop-in replacement * $75 with drilling(currently not accepting) Customer must pay for and provide tuners.

Customer must pay for or provide strap buttons and locks.

Copper Foil Shielding $100
Reduces hum in guitars to provide a cleaner sound in between and during playing.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN MY GUITAR🎸 SETUPS.
Regular guitar setups are essential to achieve the lowest action and the least amount of buzz, ensuring that your playing experience is both comfortable and enjoyable. Most new guitars also require a setup to play their best and a setup can completely change the feel of less expensive guitars. My Complete 13-Point Guitar Setup includes everything below. My Basic 10-Point Guitar Setup includes everything below except items 4, 5, and 6 noted below.
- Initial inspection of the guitar.
- Truss rod adjustment to provide the proper amount of relief in the neck.
- Bridge height adjustment to adjust the string height.
- Rotate volume & tone pots. Deoxit if scratchy, tighten if loose, note any recommendations for the owner. (NOT INCLUDED IN BASIC SETUP)
- Clean & polish the frets and identify any high frets with fret rocker, note any recommendations for the owner.(NOT INCLUDED IN BASIC SETUP)
- Clean the fretboard(basic clean, extra charge for very dirty frets) & oil (Rosewood, Pau Ferro and Ebony).(NOT INCLUDED IN BASIC SETUP)
- Change and tune strings(customer must purchase or provide). Lubricate nut.
- Tighten loose tuning machines and torque if necessary.
- Tighten any loose screws on the body.
- Check and adjust the pickup height.
- Set and adjust the intonation.
- Clean the guitar.
- Play the guitar and check for buzzing, playability, and overall feel and then do a final adjustment.
